Old Time String Band
The SLO County Stumblers is a red hot old time string band featuring fiddler and vocalist Casy Meikle, a SLO County native who moved to middle Tennessee to learn the traditional musical styles of the Southeast – and also learned to build fiddles while he was there! Banjo player Daniel Bohlman plays in the clawhammer and old two finger styles, influenced by Appalachian legends Kyle Creed and Dock Boggs. Guitarist and vocalist Stuart Mason, has performed traditional music for over 40 years all over the world, and has won awards for traditional singing, mandola, and songwriting. Bass player Jerry James travels the Earth in search of the best jam sessions, and builds unique banjos for clients all over the world.
