Thank you for your interest in participating at the Live Oak Music Festival! Please complete the form below to submit an initial inquiry for the 2024 Live Oak Music Festival. Once your submission has been received, you will receive an application packet via email.

We are recruiting local artisans, soft goods vendors, and food and beverage vendors to round out our concessions offerings. The criteria for marketplace selection will emphasize uniqueness, high-quality, and artist-made products. Selected food and beverage concessionaires will provide healthy and diverse menus and comply with San Luis Obispo County Health Department regulations. All vendors are also required to have a seller's permit. Cooperation and neighborliness is encouraged among all vendors. It’s what makes the festival a pleasant event to work!

KCBX is the EXCLUSIVE SELLER of Live Oak merchandise, beer, and wine, NO EXCEPTIONS. All proceeds from the sale of these items benefit KCBX Public Radio.

The Live Oak Music Festival has become a major volunteer fundraising event that has helped KCBX maintain its quality programming while exploring ways to become financially self-sufficient. We appreciate your active support of public radio and ask that each concessionaire take an active part in marketing the Live Oak Music Festival in their community. Average daily attendance at Live Oak is approximately 3000.

Tips for Going Green

KCBX is committed to making the Live Oak Music Festival as sustainable as possible. Our vendors can help us toward this goal by incorporating some of the following suggestions into their Live Oak planning.

Provide compostable or reusable utensils, plates, and napkins to your customers.

Use environmentally-responsible materials such as reusable or compostable bags. Styrofoam to-go containers are not permitted at Live Oak. The sale of single-use plastic water bottles is not permitted at Live Oak. Aluminum and cardboard water bottles are permitted.

Buy food and ingredients from local, organic growers.

Conserve water and reuse it whenever feasible.

Use solar power to heat water.

Pack it in, pack it out. Do not leave anything behind at the festival.
