Latin Fusion

Mexico City-based Jenny & the Mexicats features English trumpeter and lead singer Jenny Ball, with the band’s bass player, guitarist and percussionist all from Spain. Their musical roots include jazz, flamenco and rockabilly, but folk and cumbia also make their way into this group’s sound. Their instrumentation and composing style facilitates an ability to switch between genres and play whatever they feel in the moment, which makes for very fun, danceable live shows.
