After thousands of live shows and 21 recordings, this living legend of Americana music will stop touring and playing publicly at the end of summer. Prolific songwriter Robert Earl Keen says, “Quitting the road while I still love it is the way I want to leave it.”

Known for his literate song-craft and razor wit, Keen is considered a pioneer of Americana music. His joyful concerts are always a party, with lively crowds singing along. Keen’s exuberant performances feature the dazzling musicianship of his band: Bill Whitbeck on bass and vocals, Tom Van

Schaik on drums and vocals, Brian Beken on fiddle and guitar, and Kym Warner on mandolin and guitar. Keen will continue writing songs once he stops touring, saying, “I promise the Road Goes on Forever and the Party Never Ends!”
