Twang Pollution
The Creston Line is a band founded by lead singer/songwriter Jon Bartel in 2016. Their genre is best described as "twang pollution," a term coined by a disgruntled audience member early on in the band's existence. Often poignant, sometimes loud, the band is driven by Taylor Belmore Collins' flowing drums, Kirk Maclane's steady bass, and multi-instrumentalist Brenneth Steven's flexible lead lines. The Creston Line has toured the west coast several times, and after a COVID-inspired hiatus, they are happy to be back playing shows.
