Hailing from San Luis Obispo, California, Resination has been a staple for roots reggae fans on the West Coast and beyond for more than two decades. Led by front man, Vance ‘Noche Man’ Fahie, the band formed in 1999 and instantly became a SLO County favorite. Voted best reggae band on numerous occasions by the New Times Best of SLO, Resination transcends the reggae genre, appealing to all lovers of music. The band consists of five veteran musicians from the Central Coast, Vance Fahie, Patrick Pearson, Thomas ‘Toes’ Cuffe, Tim Cordero, and Michael Jimenez and have released three full length albums, ‘Live at SLO Brew’, ‘Mash Down Babylon’, and ‘Conscious Development’. Resination exudes positivity and encouragement through original roots rock reggae music and has consistently played to sold out venues up and down the coast, as well as Hawaii.
More recently, Resination enjoyed a big 20th Year Anniversary performance to a sold out SLO Brew Rock! This is a testament to their longevity and desire to spread their message through music to the masses. Resination’s vibrant, unique, and positively infectious charm has remained constant over the decades, which further makes their music and approachability timeless.
