Liam Galleher Murphy and Ross Wylde met on Tinder, and have been making friends, dinners, and music with each other ever since. Liam likes to write songs about forests and sunsets while Ross likes to write about breakups and inner turmoil - for some reason it works together. Based out of Plumas National Forest, their music answers the question: what would happen if two gay guys wrote all of their songs next to a lake?
Liam attended his first Live Oak when he was 9 months old - this will be his 24th festival celebrating peace, love, dirt, and his Live Oak family. He is honored to have graduated from the Live Oak youth talent show stage and cries if he thinks about it too hard. Ross grew up in the Northern California redwoods, where his musical family inspired him to embody the spirit of Americana, harmonica and all. You can find Murphy Wylde, and Ross’ solo material on all streaming platforms. Come visit the main stage on Live Oak Sunday for what one fan described as “tender, tender folk music… even for two sensitive men.”
