“Blurring lines between studio and stage,” SLO's live-electronic duo Elysian Moon performs progressive techno and house music in real time — Grace Jiia on piano, Tyson Leonard on violin, and both on synths. They compose and remix their music on the fly, throwing sound across space like paint on a living canvas. Bringing dance music through a cinematic palette, each performance is a work of art created alongside the audience. Tyson is the sound engineer for Alan Parsons and Jeff Bridges as well as producer for albums by beloved artists such as Jade Jackson and Ayla Nereo. Grace, a lifelong cellist and pianist, is half Chinese and half German, drawing inspiration from both cultures. Together they are Elysian Moon.
