Central Coast native Graham Yates (aka Grambo) is rhythm-obsessed. This DJ is a drummer first, having spent years behind the kit for local staples and still heading up SLO’s own Samba Loca. He brings that percussionist’s instinct to the decks. A regular selector at Sidecar, SLO Brew, Whale Rock Music Festival, and Shindig, Grambo has built a reputation for sharp taste and deep crates. He hunts across genres and eras building sets that are driven by his lifelong fixation with the funk — that dirty, greasy, stank-face kind. Expect deep cuts, thick bass, and midnight dance floor heat.
