Mercantile Coordinator

The Mercantile Coordinator is responsible for Live Oak branded merchandise and oversight of the Mercantile tent during the festival. Prior to the festival, the coordinator determines product selection (in consultation with KCBX) and works with screen printers and other product vendors. During the festival, the Mercantile Coordinator is responsible for merchandise displays, Mercantile setup, tear down and operations, and supervision of all volunteers assigned to the Mercantile. (The Silent Auction is not part of the Mercantile Coordinator's responsibility.)

This is a crucial role and requires dedication and a genial personality. Tasks begin in January and intensify as the festival dates approach. The coordinator must be available prior to the festival for set-up, for managing the Mercantile and staffing during the festival, and for tear down on Monday, post festival.

Prior retail sales management and merchandising experience is preferred.

A stipend is available.
