For crowd favorite Dante Marsh and the Vibe Setters, it’s all about the grooves. Since joining forces in 2019, this tight-knit award-winning band has found their signature sound with unique, dance-ready original music. Raised in Nashville, Dante Marsh rapidly made a name for himself in San Luis Obispo as a solo acoustic performer, then joined with some of SLO County’s top musicians to create irresistible melodies with R&B-soul-funk-island grooves. After winning a New Times Music Award for Best Performance, Dante Marsh and the Vibe Setters have rocketed to the top tier of local dance bands. Getting the crowd dancing from the first note to the last are lead singer Dante Marsh, lead guitarist Jon Milsap, bassist Drake Freeman, percussionist Tim Costa, drummer Gerald Purify, and saxophonist Brian Mendez.
