A Tribute to the Grateful Dead

The China Cats are the Bay Area’s longest-running Grateful Dead tribute band, with the same five members since 2011. That experience shows in the band’s ability to read each others musical minds, leading to climactic peaks, interesting jams and luscious three-part vocal harmonies. The China Cats have performed throughout North America, including headlining Terrapin Crossroads (Marin), The Siren (Morro Bay), Don Quixotes (Felton), Crystal Bay Casino (Tahoe), as well as festivals such as Skull & Roses, Mtn Sol, Redwood Mountain Fair, Days Between and many more. The China Cats have performed with Donna Godchaux, Melvin Seals and many others.
